Located in Jackson,TN, the name Rose and Ruthies Gourmet Catering was inspired by Chef Roosevelt Washington back in 2021. His Mother Ruthie and Sister Rose catered events for years throughout the Mississippi Delta where he grew up. His passion for cooking and preparing Southern Style dishes was engrained deeply in him at a young age, where he worked with his mother at the Indianola Country Club and would often assist in catering events with his mom and sisters. Their catering services were highly demeaned through the Mississippi Delta as they prepared only the finest and tastiest Southern Style dishes around. Although they catered for years, their names were never attached to an official business, therefore when Chef Washington decided launch his catering business, he decided to name it Rose and Ruthie's Gourmet Catering in honor of his Sister and Mother.
